Tallgrass Outfitters, LLC, invites you on a guided upland bird hunt in Southwest Kansas! Enjoy our hospitality, expert guide services, and an experience to last a lifetime. Our main guide, Tim has 20 years of hunting experience. Our other guide(s) also offer several years of hunting experience. We offer guided hunts for wild pheasant to groups ranging from a minimum of two to as many as eight hunters. We are pleased to announce that we are now booking for Controlled Shooting Area hunts! Hunting on several thousand acres of private hunting ground along with our well-trained dogs allows us to provide several different types of habitat for the avid bird hunter. We now offer package hunts offering chukar, quail, and exotic pheasants. The hunting season for theses hunts runs from September 1st thru March 31st of the following year. Hotel accommodations can be arranged at the time of booking with our guide service at the Clarion Inn at a special discounted rate. We will provide transportation to and from the field, a hot lunch, and refreshments and snacks during the hunt at no additional charge. You will be responsible for providing your own shotgun(s), ammunition, and a valid Kansas hunting license prior to the hunt. For you convenience, your hunting license may be purchased online at www.wildlifelicense.com/ks/. Hunters need to be prepared for all weather conditions, as they change rapidly in Kansas during the winter.
